Along the islet stretch lush fruit orchards as far as the eye can see, with a cool and pleasant climate. Rows of houses line the paths, selling a wide variety of handicrafts made from coconut, as well as embroidery, weaving products, local wines, cakes, and other regional specialties. Visitors can also explore fruit-laden orchards, bee farms, and coconut candy workshops—distinctive features of Southern Vietnamese culture.

The fresh green scenery of the tourist area and the charm of Thới Sơn lie in its ability to make visitors forget the hustle and bustle of city life. The waterways of the Mekong Delta immediately bring a sense of peace and tranquility, with open spaces defined by crystal-clear rivers and endless rows of green trees. Upon arriving at Thới Sơn, visitors can board a small boat and glide along winding canals bordered by dense nipa palms and graceful river she-oaks leaning over the water in welcome.

For those who prefer walking, stone-paved paths wind through lush fruit gardens. Visitors may also relax in garden houses, sipping fragrant honey tea while listening to traditional Southern folk music (Đờn ca tài tử). Nights on Thới Sơn are truly magical, filled with moonlight, gentle breezes, and rippling waters. Guests can take a boat ride on the river to admire the rising moon or sit with friends enjoying drinks accompanied by the smooth, soulful songs of local young women.

When visiting Thới Sơn Islet, you can enjoy a unique local beverage blended from tea, herbal wine, bee pollen, honey, and kumquat. In addition, you can purchase distinctive local souvenirs such as coconut candy, coconut oil, and snake wine. Visitors can also change into traditional áo bà ba outfits and step into the ponds to catch fish themselves.

You will be able to fully immerse yourself in the fresh air of the Mekong Delta as you witness peaceful rural scenes and rows of refreshing green coconut trees. One of the most enjoyable experiences is sitting on a sampan to reach Thới Sơn Islet. Along a nearly 2-kilometer stretch of river, shaded coconut palms and hundreds of boats following one another create a truly relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

After visiting Thới Sơn Islet, travelers can continue to Ngũ Hiệp Islet, famous for its specialty durian and tourism activities. Nearby, the renowned Lò Rèn star apple orchard region has also opened its doors to welcome visitors.
