Open flight routes from Phu Quoc to Singapore and Siem Reap.

On September 24, in Ho Chi Minh City, the People’s Committee of Kiên Giang Province, Vietnam Airlines, and Vinpearl Joint Stock Company jointly held a ceremony to announce the comprehensive trade promotion cooperation program titled “Phu Quoc Destination,” while simultaneously launching two new international air routes departing from Phu Quoc (Kiên Giang Province): Phu Quoc – Singapore and Phu Quoc – Siem Reap.

Accordingly, the Phu Quoc–Singapore route will be operated from November 2 with a frequency of two flights per week, departing on Thursdays and Sundays, using Airbus A321 aircraft. The Phu Quoc–Siem Reap route will be operated from December 18 with a frequency of three flights per week, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, using ATR-72 aircraft.

These are the first international routes to Phu Quoc operated by Vietnam Airlines, paving the way for major projects under the program to develop Phu Quoc into a large-scale special economic zone of the country in the future.

At the same time, Vietnam Airlines will also closely cooperate with Kiên Giang Province and Vinpearl Phu Quoc in trade promotion activities to truly establish Phu Quoc as an attractive destination and a regional- and world-class center for tourism and resort development.

On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines is offering discounted round-trip fares, excluding taxes and fees, for flights from Phu Quoc to Singapore (VND 388,000) and to Siem Reap (over VND 1.3 million per ticket) for passengers purchasing tickets in Vietnam.
